Craft beer, a cozy taproom, and learning to knit with a great instructor equals a fantastic time! Brown’s Walloomsac Taproom in North Hoosick will host a new six week knitting class for beginners at 6:30 pm on Thursdays, March 30 through May 4, 2017. Included in this series led by Colleen Viera is six weeks of instruction on how to knit a beautiful scarf or cowl, a set of wooden knitting needles, and locally sourced and spun yarn from Battenkill Fibers. No experience necessary. The cost for the class, instruction, materials, and a token for one complimentary pint is $115. The beginners class is limited to six people to allow for one on one instruction. Sign up online.
Experienced knitters are welcome to join the group free of charge from 7:30 to 9 pm for an open knit session.
