Patch Release

Patch is first and foremost a golden sour ale aged in French oak barrels. We then chose local strawberries (from Strawberry Acres) as well as a touch of elderflower and vanilla beans to complement and emphasize our favorite characteristics from the base beer.

It pours a light amber with a lively carbonation. Bright acid notes open up the palate to a wave of delicate and nuanced character. We taste strawberries (obviously), light herbal notes, a touch of oak vanillin, and a bit of white pepper. This one is super drinkable and is reminiscent of what we wanted the summer of 2020 to taste like. We recommend that you drink this one young to favor the fruity elements, or let it rest and it will morph into a funky effervescent sipper. Cheers!
