Vienna Lager

Vienna Lager! Back by popular demand, if by popular you mean what we at Brown's want to drink, which we do. Vienna lager as a style originated in, you guessed it, Vienna in 1841 but faded into obscurity in Europe shortly after the first World War. Luckily, the style was kept alive by an influx of German and Austrian brewers in Mexico; though, it suffered some adulteration over the years, chiefly with the addition of corn. We chose to forgo the corn, used vienna malt for an almond and breadlike sweetness and Mandarina Bavaria hops for a subtle citrus and pear hop character. This lovely libation pours the color of pale gold and tastes like spring. Put it in your face. If you don't, we will. Prost.

Available in 16oz 4-packs at our taprooms. Spring has arrived.
