Calavera

Calavera is inspired by Mexican mole sauce, which is possibly one of the best examples of a huge number of ingredients coming together harmoniously to create a sum that is far greater than its parts. We started with a base of one of our favorite imperial stouts and aged it on ancho chilis, vanilla beans, cinnamon, allspice, and roasted cacao nibs. The result is a nuanced and complex sipper that is excellent on its own, or paired with a plethora of foods. We recommend pairing this with a steak with a good char, chocolate lava cake, or even a creme brûlée. 

This perfect for fall beer will be released in bottles on 10/14 from our Troy taproom and 10/15 from our Walloomsac Taproom.
